A Lake George skiing vacation can also include a chance to cross country ski across the beautiful terrain found in this portion of upstate New York. The Warren County Nordic Ski Trail System is one of the best on the East Coast and includes 16 km of novice to moderate trails. Adjacent to the Hudson River, the trails travel across breathtaking landscapes and provide excellent views of the nature in this area, including interesting flora and fauna.
Lake George skiing is enhanced by the wonderful B&Bs, resorts, museums, attractions, and fine dining establishments found in the Warren County vicinity. When the snow falls each winter in the Adirondacks, the area becomes alive with activity. Guests arrive from up and down the East Coast. Adirondack Park : Nearly 10 miles of ski and snowshoe trails are available in New York State’s Adirondack Park. Excursions led by area naturalists can be enjoyed throughout the winter and are appropriate for novice to intermediate cross country skiers or snow shoe enthusiasts.
