Northern New York Museums are fine museums that are north and northwest of the Adirondacks. Boldt Castle This castle was built by George C. Boldt to show his love for his wife. He had construction halted when she died in 1904. The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority has rehabilitated and restored the building. You will need to take a boat tour to get there.
