The Jacksonville Jazz Festival

The Jacksonville Jazz Festival in Jax., Florida is a wonderful yearly musical event.

The 2010 Jacksonville Jazz Festival will be held from May 27 - 30th, 2010.

Lineup for 2010 - More to be announced later.

History

In 2009, the event occurred in Downtown Jacksonville. The great jazz line-up included Chris Botti, Roberta Flack, Warren Hill, Boney James, and Dave Brubeck.

In 2008, it played in Metropolitan Park.

Many greats have played at this festival including George Benson, Boney James, Dianne Reeves, Chuck Mangione, Steve Cole, Al Jarreau, Diane Schurr, Regina Carter, Peter White, Chris Botti and many more.

There are a variety of fine New York Jazz festivals to check out. One of the festivals include the Saratoga Jazz Festival which occurs yearly at the end of June in Saratoga New York. Another Jazz Music festival occurs in Rochester, NY in early June The Rochester International Jazz Festival in different musical venues.
