The Hyde Collection-Art Museum Complex and Historic House, Tour the home of Louis and Charlotte Hyde, a prominent turn-of-the-century Adirondack industrial family, and enjoy their important collection of European and American art.

An extraordinary variety of works by masters such as Raphael, Da Vinci, Rubens, Rembrandt, Renoir, Van Gogh, Picasso, Whistler, Eakins, and Homer grace the walls of Hyde House, a stately Florentine styled villa. This Adirondack museum has four additional gallery spaces on three floors present a changing schedule of world-class exhibitions.

Ulysses S. Grant Cottage State Historic Site President Grant completed his memoirs here. He stayed here from June 16, 1885 to July 23, 1885 when he died of Throat Cancer. The cottage remains essentially the same as during the Grant family's stay.
