Thank you for visiting this about the web manager page. I’ll tell you something about myself and the Adirondacks. I’m Ron Mitchell and I live in Rochester, NY which is hours from the Adirondack Mountains. I’m a Life Coach with a MSW and photographer.

I love taking vacations in the Adirondacks. I feel my batteries are re-energized when I visit these ancient mountains. There are such a variety of things one can do here. You can hike, swim, fish, shop, do rock climbing, visit museums and do many other fun activities. However, one of my favorite activities is using one of my digital cameras to take pictures of the beautiful lakes, rivers and these majestic Mountains.
This area is a photographer’s playground since there are so many beautiful landscapes to photograph. The first time I was amazed by the beauty of the area was when I saw the High Peaks and Mirror Lake by Lake Placid ny early one May morning. The scene was breathtaking. If attractiveness was one criterion no wonder the 1932 and 1980 Olympics were held here.

I started taking vacations in the area a number of years ago. Bed and Breakfasts have been my choice of lodgings when I’m visiting this part of New York. The host and hostess are usually warm and welcoming. The Bed and Breakfast is usually attractive and comfortable like one’s home away from home. One wonderful part of the stay is the delicious country breakfast waiting for you when you wake up in the morning. The smell of coffee and breakfast in the air can’t be beat.

Having a travel Website goes along with my other passion: Life Coaching When I coach people I help them include more balance in their life. Taking vacation from our busy lives can rejuvenate us and give us a much-needed break. Also, when we travel we can do fun activities that we do not allow ourselves to do in our busy lives.
